Today, on June 4, 2025, a meeting was held at the “Renaissance” cinema house, organized by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
The meeting was conducted to implement the tasks outlined in the Presidential Directive No. F-62 dated December 12, 2024, and the minutes of the Republican Commission No. 41 dated May 12, 2025. The participants discussed the production and public screening of films and social videos depicting the life stories and bravery of 196 heroes who sacrificed their lives for the peace and stability of the country during the years of independence.
The meeting was attended by Shuhrat Rizaev, Director of the Cinematography Agency; Sirojiddin Sayyid, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan; Otabek Hasanov, Director of the Center for Culture and Enlightenment; as well as representatives of the National Guard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Ministry of Defense.
An agreement was reached to create a series of video clips, and a working group was formed to oversee their production and delivery to the public.
This project is an important step toward honoring the memory of our selfless heroes, promoting their courage among the broader public, and fostering a spirit of patriotism, especially among the younger generation.
