I am at the end of my life. I never thought I would be so affected at this time, when passions have subsided and the smell of death has begun to waft. Yes, emotions, like a raging river, do not allow me to restore balance, like a raging river pushing the body from one shore to another. Is it possible, is it possible that after so many eras, we are finally reaching the essence of this issue, I ask myself with excitement. The sound of my voice ringing in my ears, the bold thought, the bright attitude and determination, the practical tasks being given for execution are constantly awakening. Involuntarily, memories and past events come to mind, and the information you receive above your consciousness brings past scenes to life.

The office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the endless queues at the doors of the commissions, the impatient shouts, the door-to-door wandering of people with canes or crutches, the old and young disabled people who hesitated, "If you give 2-3 months of your pension to the officials of that stupid VKK commission, the issue will be resolved positively," the images of the women with their heads covered with a long scarf, a black woolen coat on their backs, old sandals on their feet, a bunch of "certificates" and identity documents in their hands come to life in the mirror of the imagination...

The event that plunged the fireplace into this whirlpool of memories and excitement was the meeting held on December 13, 2024 under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan. The agenda of the meeting was the issue of social protection and the priority tasks of the National Agency for Social Protection. I don't know, the meeting was attended by five to ten people who had seen the humid scenes of the past, mostly young, middle-aged leaders, and industry leaders. I think there were also representatives of local elders in the crowd, which was held in the form of a video conference and covered the regions. But mostly our middle-aged brothers and sisters who have been leading the communities for the past 7-8 years. Perhaps the details during that meeting were no different for them from the meetings and gatherings that take place every day. So, they directly accepted the tasks and duties as a duty of service and position. In fact, it is natural that this is the case.
But it is clear that some emotions were stirring in the hearts of me and the participants who were my age and older. As soon as I returned from the meeting, I kept telling everyone I knew about my excitement and impressions. Because the feeling did not fit in the body, the need of the heart, expressed repeatedly, did not leave me in peace. During this meeting, the world-famous verse of our great grandfather Alisher Navoi, like “running lines” on the screens, passes through my mind:

Whoever rejoices at the memory of a broken heart,
Whoever is there, if the Kaaba is destroyed, he will prosper.
According to the dictionary meaning of social protection, first of all, human protection, showing kindness to widows, orphans, and disabled people. It means restoring the status of the poor citizen, ensuring his longevity. This
is the main aspect of patriotism, the duty and supreme task of every leader before the people and nation. This is the true essence and content of the phrase “socially just civil society”. If the leader who followed him won the recognition of the people, the father of the country, who raised the banner of kindness and generosity to the widow and the poor, adorned his name and honor with glory, and found world happiness. In my opinion, the meeting that I witnessed was a gathering that called for the social protection to be a high example for the new Uzbekistan, and thus acquired historical significance.

Five or six months ago, our ten-year-old Navoi scholar, who went on a scientific trip to the birthplace of Hazrat Alisher Navoi, went to the city of Mashhad in Iran. Hazrat Baba studied in this city in his youth, lived here for more than eight years, and when he was engaged in socio-political activities during the reign of Hussein Boykaro, he built a place near the mausoleum of Imam Ali Musa ar-Riza in Mashhad, which later became famous as Galvirkhana. Every day, a large pot was boiling in this place, and a nutritious liquid meal was prepared from wheat, millet and other cereals, and widows, the poor, the disabled, strangers and travelers from all over the world came to eat hot food in this place. Information about this is also recorded in Khandamir's work "Makorim ul-akhloq".
Look, this kindness, which our grandfather regularly showed during his lifetime, continued after him, and even... has continued uninterruptedly to this day, and now up to 70 thousand people come and eat at this place every day... I repeatedly ask our friend, the head of the Alisher Navoi International Foundation, Olimjon Davlat, who became the head of those Navoi scholars, about this incredible event: "Is it possible that this process has been going on for 500 years?!" "Yes," says Olimjon, "this process continues day and night throughout the four seasons of the year, without stopping for a single day. My companion, the writer Erkin A'zam, and I went and ate that hot, liquid food." Oh, by your power!.. Here is one of the greatest deeds of our grandfather, who has been shining the name of our grandfather in the light of mercy for five centuries after his physical death, and has been preserved in the hearts and minds of many generations.

His literary and artistic creativity, scientific heritage, the fact that he united the entire Turkic people under one pen as the founder of the Turkish literary language, and the deeds he did as a dignitary, on the one hand, and that kindness and generosity on the other hand, which our sensitive poet Erkin Vahid wanted to say: "The grandfather is not a man of this world," bring to mind the confessions of our great poet Erkin Vahid. If we make such a comparison, it is possible to conclude that the social protection initiative put forward by the leader of our country today is the continuation of the generosity of our grandfather Alisher Navoi, raised to the level of state policy in Uzbekistan with a population of about 38 million, and is a thousand times more extensive and multifaceted, a continuation of the great human tradition in a new era and new conditions. At this meeting, our President separately classified vital issues related to the past fate of our compatriots with limited opportunities in several areas and showed examples in these areas using the example of people's lives in different regions and territories. Experiences in districts and cities of at least five regions were demonstrated. First, our trainer named Zarina Zohidova told her innovation using the example of the Toyloq district of Samarkand. She opened the First Social Development Center on her own initiative and shared her experience in providing preschool education to children from poor and disabled families. Adiz Boboyev, who recently took office as the governor of Samarkand, spoke about Zarina's experience and his observations and practical analysis on the prevention of disabilities and various diseases in general. What pleased Kamina was the self-confidence of the new leader of old Samarkand, his deep understanding of the essence of the issue, and his enthusiastic expression of his opinion. Yes, the governor is not indifferent to people, he spoke with passion. One can hope that social life in the second capital of our country will take on a vibrant tone from the bold diagnoses he makes about social life. May he be honest, may his conquest not be broken, God willing!

The leader of our country, entrusting the regional governors with the task of spreading the “Toyloq experience” throughout the country, firmly expressed his opinion that this is the way to return helpless people - the disabled - to life, to a bright life, to bring national light and sunshine into families - this is the way to achieve the principle of a social state. A new figurative expression “bringing sunshine into families, into the hearts of people” became a poetic idea that suited the spirit of the crowd. And I am writing this idea down in my notebook, wondering if the poet Sirojiddin (Sayyid) heard it: “This experience should be made into a documentary!”

After 5-6 minutes, I determined the topic for another documentary. Now the head of our state began to talk about the experience of a private entrepreneurial organization called “Hamroh” in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. The head of the organization is Akmal Alikhan Nurilla oglu Aliyev, a psychiatrist, about 35-40 years old. A young man who returned from abroad at the invitation of our President and is actively using his professional skills in his country. His work is social entrepreneurship - providing spiritual and medical services to disabled people who are mostly unable to work or completely bedridden. Yes, indeed, life companionship, companionship service. At this time, the disabled, widows, poor people, traders, or, in popular parlance, "pari tekkan" people I have met on my journeys crossed my mind.

Who is a disabled person really? He is a person who cries every day. A person whose heart is broken by his helplessness and poverty, and who always needs companionship. Currently, there are 23 thousand people who cannot move on their own. The "Hamroh" organization is ready to serve such people. Employees who are called social workers no longer serve only those who can afford it. Currently, they provide spiritual, medical, and household services to disabled members of poor households. And his salary is paid at the expense of subsidies and benefits provided by the state through that business entity. “Now, thankfully, we have the necessary funds. In such situations, we will cover 80 percent of the funds from the state,” said the head of our state. Yes, the father of the country is thinking about the life of every disabled person, widow, orphan. Our president speaks about helping the helpless with such fervor and warmth that it is as if he goes up to each of them, takes them by the hand and says, “Now you will be the happiest person in the world, and there will be only tears of joy in your heart and eyes”...

May it be so, God willing!

In 2025, 600 thousand people will be given a “social card” as an experiment. This means free travel on city transport and discounts on utility bills. Various monthly allowances are also collected on this card. Here is another household convenience for you. Implementing new innovative changes in every field, opening up various types of life conveniences is a phenomenon that has passed through life experience, especially creating such conveniences for people with disabilities is very important. Because they, like any physically fit people, want to live a full physical and spiritual life. In this sense, installing devices for them in places for various activities, introducing tools such as Braille and sign language for the blind or deaf-mute, was determined as a mandatory task in enterprises and all cities and towns, and strengthening the implementation requirements in this regard was another important direction of this meeting.

In the case of Ganijon Turgunov, who employed dozens of disabled people in a private enterprise called "Mono-electric" in Jizzakh, such benevolent generosity was praised, and the issue of reducing the social tax of entrepreneurs for such activities to 1 percent was put forward. So, the non-taxable funds will go directly to the development of the enterprise and, of course, to create new jobs and comfort for disabled employees.

But what if such an entrepreneurial experience is carried out directly by a disabled person himself? This happened thanks to the extraordinary determination and perseverance of Dilorom Yuldasheva from Denov. Three years ago, a middle-aged woman who lost both legs in an accident opened a sewing shop in her village and provided work for a forty-year-old woman. However, it was possible to accept fate, say that this is fate, depend on loved ones, wait for the state pension month by month, and live a life of lightlessness in the hope of a grateful meal that someone will give her. But Dilorom Yuldasheva, who demonstrated her will and determination, was included in the list of 100 (one hundred) women ranked by international organizations as an example of strong women who inspire the spirit of aspiration in the modern world. That is recognition and honor for you. It is our duty and obligation to honor those who have been recognized by the world and to pay full attention to such people of fate. In front of everyone, our President read out a decree online in front of this crowd, awarding Dilorom Yuldasheva with the Order of "Mardlik" and presented it to the owner of the highest award. Interestingly, until now, the award, which had been awarded only to men, especially defenders of the Motherland, was unconventionally awarded to a woman. So no one perceived this as unnatural.

At that moment, the fireplace was buzzing, and I was writing in my notebook that “of course, we need to make a film,” and the head of our state, as if anticipating my thoughts, mentioned cinema and culture, the media, and gave instructions on creating films and plays about our daughter from Denova.
While writing down the instructions, I thought about the ideas that had been included in various documents until recently, such as creating images of “modern heroes,” but had remained on paper. Here, the implementation of those instructions and tasks has finally reached its practical stage. Without going too far, it is appropriate to separately note that four or five heroes of our time were discovered at this very meeting. Another sad thought comes to mind in this regard.

Frankly, 7-8 years ago, the concept of a person seemed to us to be taught only in the distant past. For some reason, our contemporary greats, although they are recognized in the country, are not brought to the stage of our time. As if we should enter human society without people - without individuals... Doesn't a depersonalized society ultimately mean a crowd? This is the essence of the philosophy of selfishness.

The courage of Dilorom Yuldasheva reminded me of the famous poet and teacher from Kokand, Anbar Otin. This oppressed woman, who went down in history with her knowledge, eloquence, beautiful poetry, and her deeply observed philosophical treatise "The Philosophy of the Blacks", also had a tragic fate. The poet, who had earned respect and fame at various events with her promptness, correct speech, and knowledge, was physically injured and crippled by envious people. A woman with two paralyzed legs and bedridden finds physical and spiritual strength in herself, engages in creativity, invites dozens of young girls from around the world to teach them to read and write, teaches, and works as a teacher. Yes, our motherland has always been able to demonstrate its spiritual power and has earned honor for this.

Now it's time for sports... It's interesting that a disabled person's involvement in sports, and not just that, but professionally, has become a common occurrence, while it used to be an extraordinary event. Without going too far, in the field I know and am responsible for - cinema, the 19 documentaries in the "School of Resilience" series that we have worked on over the past 2-3 years are proof of our words. Our documentary filmmakers have created incredibly heartfelt films dedicated to the lives of 18 of our famous Paralympic heroes who won medals at the Tokyo Olympics. Another concept that was especially heard at the meeting was the term “inclusive”. This word, borrowed from English, means “considered”, “studying together”, “being brought up under equal conditions”. This means that people with physical and mental disabilities live together actively, in the same conditions. It was announced that such classes will be opened in about a thousand schools by 2025. Similar groups will also be opened in kindergartens. Having found their place in life, they are providing opportunities for not only children, but also parents to work and live a full life. An example of this is the life of Tashkenbayeva Mahbarakhon from Kurgan-Antepa, Andijan.

The day care group established at the Muruvvat home in the district took care of her disabled son named Abdurazzok, who could not be left without a caregiver. “The sick person is not sick, but the one who takes care of the sick person is sick,” our people say. Sitting over a disabled child day and night exhausts all endurance and willpower, and makes a person sick. Living in such a hopeless and desolate situation, Mahbarakhon was drowning in her own oil when, on the advice of a social worker in the neighborhood, she went to the Muruvvat home and gave her child to the day care group. Abdurazzok found care in better conditions than at home during the day, and Mahbarakhon was able to bring a little light into the family, along with raising a healthy son and a wife. With tears in his eyes, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leader of our state for bringing him and others like him to light, talking about the suffering he had caused the people. It seems to me that his tears of gratitude also moistened the eyes of the participants of the meeting.

At the same time, the President emphasized a fact from the recent past. In the past, thirty people carrying three kilos of something would enter a poor house, supposedly as a kindness to a disabled person, a widow, or a poor person. It was impossible to understand whether this was kindness or gratitude. After all, after these actions, our concept of "don't let your left hand know what your right hand gives" has become a rule.

Honestly, who needs dry numbers and "let the master see" reports? At that time, the Mufti Nuriddin Haji Khaliqnazar, who was participating in the meeting in the Andijan assembly hall, gave a reasonable and clear assessment of the essence of the crowd: "The attention shown by the father of the country is a unique example of orphan care. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that when the wars in the cause of Islam became difficult, the orphans, widows, and the poor in the country be gathered in the square. When the companions asked the reason for such an action in the heat of the moment, that great person said that those orphans and widows should pray to Allah for victory in the war..."

It is logical that the prayer of an orphan, widow, and the poor is higher and more effective than any other prayer. At the end of the meeting, our President, addressing as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, gave an instruction to further expand the experience of taking children with difficult fates into the system and raising them as brave boys who recognize their national identity. The meeting clearly outlined the short-term and long-term tasks of the newly established National Agency for Social Protection. Already in 2024, the agency was able to find its place and voice in our society. Working in partnership with international and local organizations, Ne-Ne has managed to ease the burden and difficulties of all segments of our people, young and old, disabled, needy, widowed and destitute. Perhaps that is why His Holiness the Mufti, in his speech, praised this organization as the “Insof Agency”. He expressed satisfaction with their dedication.

Every time after such meetings, my respect for the leader of our country increases, and I even feel human love, and I thank the Creator for being born and raised in such a country, living in such peaceful times, and being a contemporary of a just, passionate, and selfless leader.

On the eve of 2025, new news spread in the Uzbek media: 100 victims - seriously injured children, women, and the elderly - were brought to Tashkent from the Palestinian city of Rafah (the most affected area in the Gaza Strip) by Uzbekistan Airways with their companions. It was shown on Uzbek television - the disabled and crippled are being taken to hospitals and urgently treated. Kindness is being shown, love is being given. This is also a manifestation of kindness to humanity. Because, not only our own country, but all the people in the world are also finding light and healing from God's shadow on earth.

Yes, our great poet Erkin Vahid wants to say:
Your mother is the earth,
Your lonely journey is the earth,
Your sick patient is the earth,
Your son is your own medicine!

Every year on February 14, the birthday of our great ancestor, king and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, is traditionally celebrated in our country.

On this occasion, various events are held in educational and other institutions. Articles are published in the media. New editions of Babur's works are published, translations into different languages ​​are published.

Two years ago, on the occasion of the poet's 540th anniversary, the work "Boburnoma" was translated into Italian. Professor Shukhrat Rizayev, a distinguished youth trainer in the Republic of Uzbekistan, wrote a special article about this translation and the deeply meaningful "So'z Bashi" written to it. We think that it is useful to refer this article, published in his time, to the judgment of today's readers.

Much has been written about the “charming person”, the beautiful poet, the truthful historian, the skillful commander and the great ruler Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. More than five centuries have passed, and the research on understanding this great person, reading his work and understanding him does not stop. A smart fan always wonders: “Who is Babur?” The above are just general definitions with more or less widespread qualities. It is clear that fans who have come to understand the essence of his poetry, reality, character and scientific and artistic treatises are not satisfied with the usual definitions that have been passed down from language to language. The truth is that just as difficult and rewarding as understanding Hazrat Navoi is, understanding Babur Mirza is no less a task, a laborious task, and a pleasure.

Just as Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was a citizen of the land of dreams and sorrows, so too was the sorrow and sorrow of his compatriots and compatriots...

The irony of the matter is that in a country with such a magnificent ancient civilization as Italy, on the day of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the work "Boburnoma" was published in large numbers in Italian as a high-quality printing house. The book was foreword by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. An extremely sincere artistic essay written by the famous Italian scientist and writer Franco Cardini on the impressions of the work "Boburnoma" is included as an introduction to the book. Another significant aspect is that the book is decorated with 96 artistic miniature paintings attributed to the Babur era.

In this regard, it is worth noting that the following statement of the leader of our country was a kind of programmatic reference in the implementation of the tasks and goals set for the foreign publication:

“I believe that getting acquainted with the invaluable heritage of our great ancestor, a classical poet and encyclopedist who occupies a worthy place in our three thousand-year history, will allow the scientific and cultural community of Italy to become more closely aware of the spiritual world of the Uzbek people, the blood of great people flowing in our veins, and the positive changes that are being carried out in our country today on the path to building a New Uzbekistan.”

Federica Pastore, the translator who translated “Boburnoma” into Italian, commented on the same publication and described the work as “the first true example of an autobiographical work typical of Islamic civilization.” Perhaps because of this quality, all the performers of the work on the publication of the book approached their tasks with great responsibility and sincere intentions. That is, the desire is that “Boburnoma”, first of all, will take a place in the hearts and minds of all intelligent people as a work that reveals to the world the history, nature, life and other characteristics of the Uzbek people, brings Europe, Asia and other continents closer to our country, and turns people with different languages, religions and worldviews into friends and lovers of Uzbekistan. This goal is especially clearly understood from the thoughts of the author of the introduction, Franco Cardini. Frankly, after studying the history of our ancestors, reading various articles and treatises on tyranny and colonialism, both theoretical and practical, as well as archival sources and memoirs, I cannot recall another author who felt so embarrassed for his tyrannical ancestors as Franco Cardini, and who expressed this so clearly and openly, with such understanding and eloquence. No intellectual from the nations that invaded Africa or Asia, including Central Asia, plundered their wealth, oppressed and sold their people into slavery, and plundered the colonial lands in a barbaric and cultural way, from a scientist to a writer and poet, could have recognized and expressed the thoughts that Franco Cardini expressed with a thousand sorrows and regrets. On the contrary, they supported, covered up, and tried to justify the abominable policies of their states, and when their feelings of at least extreme humanity flared up, they were hushed up and pretended not to know. Let us take Fyodor Dostoevsky and Solzhenitsyn as our example. Vladimir Medinsky, a prominent figure in the current Russian Federation, in his book “Myths about Russia” (2013), argues that the conquest of Central Asia by the Russian Empire in the second half of the 19th century led not only to the end of feudal backwardness in these countries, but also to the end of slavery, which still existed, and to political, economic, and socio-economic development, citing the novel “Slaves” by Sadriddin Aini, the founder of Tajik Soviet literature.

However, the events and characters reflected in the novel "Slaves" were set in a time when Russia itself, having abolished serfdom in 1861, was still living with the scars of slavery. When such views and approaches inflame your pain and suffering, this confession by Franco Cardini acts like a balm on the wounds of the heart: “We, the “Westerners,” owe the culture of other peoples of the world an immense debt: we have invaded other people’s lands, plundered their property, and subjugated them. In this regard, it is necessary to emphasize a fact that does not require proof: we have committed more cruel acts than seizing the property of other peoples, depriving them of their freedom and life. That is, it is no secret that we have despised other nations and peoples because they think differently from us, live differently, and have treated them as “inferior.” Here is a high example of sincerity, honesty, humanity, and intelligence!

This is not nobility or kindness, or mercy. This is conscientiousness, honesty, and intelligence.

When our former "big brothers", who for almost eighty years have been leading the "world salvation" by attributing the victory over fascism in World War II to themselves alone, and today are taking this past world victory to the extreme, when the German people are embarrassed for the mistakes of that time, asking for forgiveness from all humanity, and even making material compensation for the guilty, it seems that they have reached the true essence of the concepts of humanity, conscientiousness, and intelligence.

F. Cardini continues his thoughts and says: "We have never, even close to our own, considered the values ​​​​of other peoples in science, art, and beauty. We were only interested in acquiring their material wealth."

At this point, some scenes from the famous novel "Kutlug' khon" by our famous writer Oybek come to mind that the reader does not pay much attention to: In a restaurant in the new part of the city that Tsarist Russia built to house its tyrannical courts after occupying Tashkent, three Uzbeks, Mirzakarimboy's younger son Salimboyvachcha, cotton worker Jamolboy, and the young man Abdishukur, are busy with their lives. While his companions are enjoying themselves with drinks and prostitutes, Abdishukur overhears the conversation of "two Russians sitting in the next chair."

"One of them is an older man, either a bureaucrat, a big merchant, or both at the same time... The other is a middle-aged man, wearing glasses and very smartly dressed. Abdishukur likened him to an engineer.

“The Sarts are, of course, racially inferior,” the official said, cutting the meat on his plate with a knife. “They are completely incapable of culture. A professor recently proved this claim very well in a scientific society. You know, I have been living in this hot country for twenty years. I have studied the psychology of the Sarts well. They are racially inferior. But despite this, they show some features that science has not yet been able to explain. According to my observations, for example, they have a very developed artistic sense. They love flowers. Even though their clothes are ugly, they wear flowers in their ears. They are very fond of singing and playing...

They take a plate or a tray in their hands and shout. You and I would run away from this for ten miles... But they bow their heads and listen in absolute silence. They also have several musical instruments. Very primitive. They also have a stupid habit: they sit with their legs crossed on the floor. This is a great pain for us. It is a pleasure for them! Whether they are rich or poor, the “sart” will always have one bowl in their house. If they do two, it is considered a great sin to break the habit!..”

Now let’s compare: how different is the modern figure we mentioned above, a high-ranking official who headed the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for several years - a bureaucrat according to the old understanding - from the Petersburg bureaucrat who lived in Turkestan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries “for twenty years in a hot country” and repeatedly emphasized the “racial inferiority” of the local people.

If we ask further, is our contemporary, a "glorious figure", a descendant of Viktor Yulianovich Medinsky, who was the head (nachalnik) of the city of Tashkent during the years of the Tsarist Russia in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, then the nachalnik of Margilan uyezd, assistant to the military governor of the Fergana region, later first assistant to the military governor of the Samarkand region, then the military governor of the Samarkand region, and who served in Turkestan for almost fifty years, rising from a simple ensign to the rank of lieutenant general?! By the way, if we take into account that General Medinsky's son, Colonel Konstantin Viktorovich Medinsky, was the military nachalnik of the Kokand uyezd for a long time, it becomes clear how much the Medinsky dynasty contributed to the subjugation of Central Asia to the Russian Empire. Yes, by the way, it's a story that the people of Fergana still tell with fear.

When the city of New Fergana (in the vernacular Iskobil, i.e. the former Skobelov, named after the fierce conqueror and Russian general), was being built, plane tree saplings were planted on the central street as an avenue. (This avenue is still preserved with its hundred and fifty-year-old plane trees). It is said that a young boy, a boy, plucked one of these saplings, made a wooden horse and played with it. Seeing this, the assistant military governor of the region, Medinsky, ordered the baby to be hanged in front of all the residents to set an example for others... This is a terrible story that has been passed from mouth to mouth by the people. Perhaps Medinsky's involvement in this incident is not a proven fact. But the fact that such a terrible event occurred is a real fact, and the Tsarist tyrannical regime made this reality happen. And the Medinsky dynasty served this system faithfully for more than half a century...

It may seem to the dear reader that the thought has strayed from the main topic. But the fact is that Franco Cardini's painful confessions and, in a sense, sincere apologies for the past deeds of his ancestors, are now, no wonder, calling "certain officials" to a sound mind and sober thinking. Indeed, it is these, truly intelligent people who must draw objective conclusions from the past. In this sense, Franco Cardini's introduction to the "Boburnoma" seems to have given a very reasonable rebuke not only to Italian, but also to world scientists: "We even invented the false concept of "peoples without history" in order to quickly hide our crimes and justify ourselves. However, the wealth we forcibly took from these nations was actually only a superficial, external part of their real, genuine and extremely incalculable treasures!”

Similarly, no matter how much Russian scientists who studied the history, ethnography, literature and language of the peoples of Central Asia under the name of orientalists seem to have contributed to the development of our national science, it is an undeniable fact that they came to our country primarily with the goal of missionary work - to convert Muslims to the Orthodox religion and assimilate them into Russia. That is why the local intellectuals who fell into their trap and served their people “in reverse” ended their lives with regret and regret. The painful fate of the enlighteners Sattorkhon Abdug'afforov, Zakirjon Furkat is proof of our words. “N.P. Ostroumov, G.V. Andreyev, V.V. Missionary scientists, artists, and researchers such as Vereshchagin, E.K. Meyendorff, V.V. Radlov, N.I. Veselovsky, N.N. Ilminsky, G.S. Sablukov, etc., mastered rare manuscript sources created by the indigenous peoples of Central Asia over thousands of years. These sources later became the property of the Hermitage, the magnificent museums and libraries of St. Petersburg.

According to Franco Cardini, if they had later appreciated the spiritual wealth acquired from these other peoples, studied them not with the spirit, imagination, and skills of colonialism, but with an objective intention, and approached them without considering their science superior to theirs, then the peoples of Europe, Asia, and Africa could have lived together in brotherhood, that is, without any Islamophobia, terrorism, radicalism, or extremism. The world would be peaceful, the sky would be clear, and people's hearts would be free from fear and uncertainty about tomorrow. The conclusion of the Italian scholar, who looked at the power and splendor of India during the Mughal dynasty, studied it from the inside, and came to a deeper understanding of it, is noteworthy and significant in every way.

“...We see, looking at the beauty of the cities, palaces and gardens (during the Mughal era - Sh.R), another Renaissance, equal to the achievements of the Renaissance, created at the peak of our cultural development, and in some places "exceeding" them. We can only say, for our own comfort, that these people could also teach us anger, cruelty, greed and cunning.” From the point of view of historical justice, Babur is also a conqueror who went to India with the intention of conquering it and conquered it with military skill. As a bright representative of the Timurid era, that is, the second Renaissance, which took place in his homeland - Transoxiana, he brought the breath of socio-cultural Renaissance into the lives of the peoples of Afghanistan and India. He did not interfere with the language, religion, and lifestyle of the local people. On the contrary, he created conditions for their development and set a high example of tolerance that no other conqueror had done before him.

Later, Jawaharlal Neruda, a great political leader of the Indian people, described him as “Babur was a charming person, a typical ruler of the Renaissance, a brave and enterprising man. He loved art, literature, and enjoyed life.

His grandson Akbar was also a brave and courageous man, a man of many virtues, a man of great talent, a man of great courage Italian scholar Franco Cardini, speaking of the historical truth in this matter, gives a unique lesson to our Babur scholars: “Before retreating to the South - to mountainous Kabul - between 1511 and 1512, Babur managed to capture several cities that once belonged to the state of Amir Temur (i.e. his grandfather - Sh.R).

From here, the way to India was opened for him: it was here that the princes of the Lodi dynasty of Lahore and the alliance of Indian Rajputs encouraged him to conquer this peninsula, which was rich in natural resources.”

You see, a great ruler who had built such a magnificent Empire could not find peace and tranquility that would please him in a country like India. As F. Cardini noted, India “did not suit” Babur. All the details of this situation are expressed with extraordinary truthfulness and eloquence in the "Baburnoma". That is why the Italian scholar, evaluating the work, comes to the following conclusion:

"This is not only a diary, travelogue, memoir, autobiography, chronicle of historical value, but this magnificent work also clearly demonstrates the scientific and artistic potential of the author, who refutes the false and lofty literary styles of the ruler of his time. There is no doubt that a European reader who decides to read "Baburnoma" will not be able to resist it."
Dear reader! I think it is better to admit one truth, that rather than talking about the work "Boburnoma", which was published in Italian, I was moved by the human and scientific courage of the prominent Italian scientist and writer Franco Cardini, who wrote the introduction to this work and its author, and expressed my thoughts and views, turning them into passions. After all, as we noted above, having seen and read various sources about the atrocities of tyranny, I had not found a single line that expressed such impartiality and embarrassment for one's ancestors. In my opinion, it would be a good morning if the Italian reader, reading the "Boburnoma" in his native language, also read the introduction of F. Cardini, who calls on the Italian reader to take a sober and careful look at his past, and was somewhat spiritually cleansed! Such works, which the Italians themselves discovered, are an amazing experience - a sense of catharsis and spiritual purification, should become an example for scientists and researchers around the world. Only then can we hope that a new intelligent generation will mature, who will understand the essence of the ancient concepts of unity, brotherhood, and universal community.
