Today, a solemn welcoming ceremony was held at Tashkent International Airport to honor filmmakers who participated in the 21st International Film Festival "Altyn Minbar", which was held in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, from September 5 to 9.
At this prestigious festival:
The film "Makhtumkuli Firugi" won the main prize in the "Russia - Islamic World" category.
The film "Eternal Moments", shot by director Navroza Biynazova at the request of the Cinematography Agency by the State Enterprise "Documentary and Chronicle Film Studio", received recognition from film journalists and film critics in the documentary category.
These achievements once again clearly demonstrated the growing potential of Uzbek cinema in the international arena.

On September 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the grand premiere of the feature film "Shamsikamar", directed by Nusrat Khusanov, will be held at the "Palace of National Cinema of Uzbekistan" in collaboration with the Cinematography Agency and the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The plot of the film is full of scenes that keep the viewer in suspense, and the main roles are played by the talented actress Yulduz Rajabova and actor Sherzod Murodov.
