On February 26, the Director of the Cinematography Agency Shukhrat Rizayev and the Director of the Uzbekfilm Film Concern Bakhodir Muhamedov held a meeting with the Indonesian director of Tobali Film, Dani Juliarto, and the director of Khata Media, Charles Vincent.
During the meeting, the Indonesian filmmakers announced that they are planning to shoot a feature film that will promote the culture of Uzbekistan and Indonesia, and that they hope for creative cooperation with the Agency in this regard.
During the conversation, the Indonesian filmmakers noted that this film will be largely dedicated to the life and work of the great hadith scholar Imam al-Bukhari, and asked for assistance in the organizational processes of filming, including transportation, equipment, and locations.
The Uzbek side said that the script of the feature film to be filmed, as usual, was reviewed by the Agency's Expert Council, and a positive conclusion was reached. They stressed their readiness to cooperate once received.
It was determined that the organizational work during the filming process will be carried out at a minimum agreed price.
