As part of the scientific-practical conference “From Living History to a Bright Future,” a new hall dedicated to the screening of retro films was inaugurated at the National Palace of Cinematic Arts of Uzbekistan. This modern 70-seat hall is expected to become a unique cultural hub for film enthusiasts. From now on, visitors will have the opportunity to watch masterpieces of Uzbek and world cinema daily, meet renowned filmmakers, and engage in discussions about the films they watch.
Additionally, a Retro Film Club was launched during the ceremony. Led by Mastura and Sardor Iskhaqov, the club aims to unite cinema lovers and organize unforgettable film nights for them.
Furthermore, a special pavilion featuring some of the best examples of Uzbek retro films has been established within the palace. This space showcases models inspired by legendary films such as “Suyunchi,” “Shum Bola,” “Abdullajon,” “Toylar Muborak,” “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” “Oltin Devor,” “Tashkent – The City of Bread,” “Uchrashuv,” and “Sevishganlar.”
This initiative serves to widely promote the heritage of national cinema, pass it on to future generations, and provide audiences with unforgettable impressions.

A meeting was held at the National Palace of Cinematic Arts of Uzbekistan with the participation of renowned Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan, Smita Pant, the Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shuhrat Rizayev, the Head of the National Cinematography Development Center, Furqat Usmonov, as well as members of the delegation.
The guests first visited the Uzbekistan Museum of Cinematic Arts, which has been enriched with new exhibitions. They learned in detail about the history and modern development of Uzbek cinema. The museum’s extensive historical materials and exhibits left a warm impression on the visitors.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the next stages of implementing joint film projects between Uzbekistan and India, experience exchange, and future cooperation prospects, leading to relevant agreements being reached.

🇺🇿🇮🇳 Today, the opening ceremony of “Indian Cinema Days”, organized in collaboration between the Cinematography Agency and the Embassy of India in Uzbekistan, took place at the Uzbekistan National Palace of Cinema.
The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan, Smita Pant, the Director of the Cinematography Agency, Shuhrat Rizayev, as well as renowned Bollywood filmmakers, including Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, R. Balki, Gauri Shinde, and others.
At the end of the event, director R. Balki’s film “Ghoomer” was screened. The lead roles in the film were played by Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Shabana Azmi.
It is worth noting that the films presented as part of “Indian Cinema Days”, held under the slogan #SashaktNari, highlight the role of women in society and their development.

On February 26, the Director of the Cinematography Agency Shukhrat Rizayev and the Director of the Uzbekfilm Film Concern Bakhodir Muhamedov held a meeting with the Indonesian director of Tobali Film, Dani Juliarto, and the director of Khata Media, Charles Vincent.
During the meeting, the Indonesian filmmakers announced that they are planning to shoot a feature film that will promote the culture of Uzbekistan and Indonesia, and that they hope for creative cooperation with the Agency in this regard.
During the conversation, the Indonesian filmmakers noted that this film will be largely dedicated to the life and work of the great hadith scholar Imam al-Bukhari, and asked for assistance in the organizational processes of filming, including transportation, equipment, and locations.
The Uzbek side said that the script of the feature film to be filmed, as usual, was reviewed by the Agency's Expert Council, and a positive conclusion was reached. They stressed their readiness to cooperate once received.
It was determined that the organizational work during the filming process will be carried out at a minimum agreed price.

Director of the Cinematography Agency Shukhrat Rizayev received the Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan Smita Pant.
During the meeting, the Ambassador put forward the initiative to hold the "Indian Cinema Days" event in Tashkent on the occasion of International Women's Day and stated that she would rely on the Agency's practical support in granting permission for the event and its effective organization.
It was decided that the "Indian Cinema Days" event would be organized in cooperation with the Cinematography Agency and the Embassy of India in Uzbekistan on March 13-16 at the National Palace of Cinematography of Uzbekistan.

The premiere of the multi-part series “Promise”, shot by the “Liger Cinema” film studio in cooperation with the National Guard, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment and the “Renessans” TV channel by order of the Cinematography Agency, took place at the National Palace of Cinematography.
The screening was attended by Sarvar Mamayusupov, Deputy Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Educational Affairs, Personnel and Youth Affairs, Otabek Khasanov, Director of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, Sayfullo Rajabov, Press Secretary of the Cinematography Agency, filmmakers, our compatriots, and media representatives. Sarvar Mamayusupov and Sayfullo Rajabov spoke in detail about the content and significance of this series. At the same time, the leadership of the National Guard Command presented special souvenirs to partner organizations and filmmakers.
The series reflects the process of military education of young people, learning a sense of discipline and responsibility, and developing teamwork skills. The work also glorifies noble values such as friendship, loyalty, courage and patriotism.
The series features such talented creators as Mejriddin Rahmatov, Anvar Azimov, Dilmurod Masaidov, Rahmatilla Valiyev, Jamshid Itolmasov, Mehridilbonu Ergasheva, Sevinch Siddikova. The authors of the script are Bobur Yuldoshev and Sanjar Mamanazarov, and the directors are Bobur SHER OʻGʻLI and Jamshid Narzikulov.
